Customer Advisor (Inside Sales)

DataStories International, a fast-growing augmented analytics software company, located in Turnhout, Belgium, is looking for an inside sales professional to strengthen our commercial operations and meet the growing demand in augmented analytics enterprise software.

DataStories is the only analytics platform so far which has been specifically developed to enable domain experts without data science background to use advanced analytics and offers direct feedback loop from machine learning algorithms to actions.

Your mission will be to proactively engage with professionals from our industries of focus - life sciences, performance chemicals, advanced machinery, and automotive- and advise them on how augmented analytics can bring value to their businesses. You will be assessing whether they are ready to benefit from the DataStories offerings in augmented analytics and if so, support the commercial team to timely engage with the potential business customers.

Who we are looking for?

You have a bachelor degree or equivalent. You love technology and people, and are comfortable with intense communication via phone and email of a daily basis. You want to learn about augmented analytics and it’s role in data-driven innovation, be on top of the current providers of AI solutions to objectively show to our prospects why DataStories offering is best, and effectively communicate what DataStories solution is and what it is not. You will be helping our prospects understand what data analytics can do for their businesses, how can they achieve returns from their digitalization efforts, informatively address their concerns, and help them compare existing advanced analytics tools, where DataStories shines bright. You want to contribute to growing DataStories into a market leader of augmented data analytics. You are excellent communicator in English and one more European language (ideally Dutch, French, Italian, or German). You have experience and affinity in working with the team to transparently log your progress in our CRM tools and regularly and efficiently communicate it with the team.

Your responsibilities

  • Your main task will be proactively generate contacts in our industry of focus, continuously deliver value to them, research opportunities and build relationships.

  • You will be doing research about industries and companies of focus, identifying emerging trends, key stakeholders and facts.

  • You will be doing effective online demonstrations of our software and presentations of success stories.

  • You will be responsible for maintaining and growing a list of engaged business prospects while carefully logging the results of your interactions in our CRM.

  • You will be office based but will work very closely with our field commercial team. You will also get an opportunity to work in an amazing team of people who are making dents in the universe.
